We recognize how essential the electrical grid is to our way of life, our economic system, culture and society in general. The reliability and resiliency of the grid has for over 100 years been the sole responsibility of the operating franchised utility. With new state legislation mandating higher percentages of renewable sourced power, with its intermittent characteristics, it is becoming essential that a new perspective be observed by all of society that depends upon the grid. 

This new perspective is an inclusive view of the grid’s participants and aggregates each parties consumption patterns, as well as its ability to generate and/or store energy. While mandated renewable source generation percentages can be substantially met with increased solar power and increased daytime consumption – along with reduced evening consumption – this with require additional cooperation from the load side.

UtiliSource’s mission is to work with utility companies and their customers to optimize the opportunities of both parties in maintaining grid resiliency. 

Identifying and qualifying Demand Response and demand-side management opportunities, lighting load savings, and (especially) daytime EV charging locations, as well as candidates to participate in other incentivized programs, is a primary objective of UtiliSource. 

Thanks in part to sweeping government rebate programs aimed at encouraging the use of renewable energy sources, current utility customers have many opportunities, most of which they probably don't know about, to significantly cut their monthly electricity costs as well as potentially even turn a profit by generating power on their own, and/or selling it to others.

One way Customers can profit right now today is by granting UtiliSource the right to install up to 40 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations 100% cost-free on location at any parking lot or parking structure within the city of Los Angeles.  This program is guaranteed by a current rebate provided by the US government, so the owner of the lot will not need to pay a penny out of pocket, but they gain the significant benefits of having up to 40 brand new Electric Vehicle Charging Stations on their site, which will draw more customers from Electric Vehicle owners, as well as add an addtional revenue stream from the power consumed by the Electric Vehicle drivers who park and charge their cars in these lots or structures.

UtiliSource will handle all scouting, engineering, permits, paperwork, financing, equipment purchases, installation and inspections, all we need is a couple of signatures.
